Last weekend Grant and I anxiously hitched up our Shasta and hit the road to Banff. The drive down was a nail biter but we made it to our campsite in Tunnel Mountain in once piece. The week leading up to our trip was very stressful. We spent some very late nights working on making the interior liveable enough to make the trip. Needless to say, a weekend without obligations was the best reward for our hard work. We still have a lot of work left to do on the interior of the trailer. Unbeknownst to us, we hadn't quite adapted the bench seats to make one big bed so we slept on two (very hard) twin size beds over the weekend. We have a bit of flooring left to do, painting, trim to put up, an ill fitting kitchen table to fix, and a long list of smaller things that add up to a crap-ton of work.
There are some photos below of the Ham in its current state. Plus a video of the road trip. I'm not going to be winning any awards for directing anytime soon but the occasion had to be captured on film (so to speak).
I can't wait for our trip to Waterton at the end of the month!
