I'm a bit of a coffee cup fanatic. I have several Pyrex and Corelle mugs stored away and I love a good vintage flowered cup like the ones below. For some reason, tea cup and saucer sets tend to be more expensive to thrift than wee cups like these. Maybe there was a tea cup craze where women were snapping them up to make tea cup candles for their weddings and thrift shops decided to charge more. I really have no idea. And although tea cup china can be quite beautiful, I prefer a sturdier cup myself. My Gram still drinks her coffee out of a tea cup every day but my mug of choice isn't quite as dainty. Anyway, enough about that - find some new to me thrifted pieces below.
This wooden cup is from the Philippines. For a whole $0.50, I couldn't pass it up. I think I fancy using it as a pencil holder myself.
Hope you had perfect weekend. Happiest of Mondays to you!
